10 Minute Decluttering Tips
- Declutter your kitchen by getting rid of duplicate utensils and Tupperware without lids or visa versa.
- Organize your pantry by tossing any old or expired product, put foods into quality storage containers , wipe down shelving and sweep the floor.
- Tackle your bathroom clutter by throwing away all of those partially filled toiletries and makeup that are no longer in use. Toss any sunblock that will expire before you need it this summer.
- Donate unused toys like baby toys, books they have outgrown, unopened toys, toys under their beds (chances are they have been forgotten about by now), and things you know they don’t play with. Make sure to toss any broken or incomplete toys.
- Eliminate that pile of paper. Recycle old magazines, coupons, news papers, menus and schoolwork. Make a folder of important documents to scan and store them on your computer or cloud for easy access.
- Get rid of any clothes that you haven't worn in over a year. If your not sure which those are you can place the hanger on the rod backwards and revisit your closet in a month to see which are still hanging that way. Pack away seasonally inappropriate clothing in properly labeled totes.
